The new production facility in Akyurt, Ankara, which became fully operational in 2025, stands as a concrete expression of the company’s long-term vision in the field of aerial work platforms and elevated access equipment.

Full-Scale Scissor Lift Production at a 5,000 m² Dedicated Facility

The new factory spans a total closed area of 5,000 m² and was designed with efficiency, automation, and occupational safety as its core principles. The facility houses laser cutting lines, precision welding stations, automation-assisted assembly lines, and integrated quality control processes. This infrastructure gives Galen Equipment the capability to manufacture its scissor lifts — known in many markets simply as manlifts — to consistently high quality standards at scale.

The transition from prototype development to serial production represents far more than a capacity increase for Galen Equipment. The scissor lift models rolling off this production line include the company’s flagship products: the ES1012 manlift — CE and EN 280 certified, equipped with a PMSM motor powerpack — and the ES1212 scissor lift, which offers extended reach for demanding applications. Both personnel lifting platforms are engineered to meet European standards and are suitable for construction, industrial maintenance, and facility management sectors worldwide.
